Nurses and technicians at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital have reached agreement on a new three-year contract, according to the combined unions for both groups of workers.
The deal covers about 317 employees who will receive wage increases of 15 to 23 percent in the next two years. The terms also include half-a-million dollars in additional nurse staffing to aide in patient care and minimize reassignments, and enforceable staffing language for techs and licensed practical nurses.
The unions say both bargaining units “overwhelmingly ratified” the contract.
