One of Indiana County’s community fairs has announced that it is ending at its current location after 84 years.
The organizers of the Ox Hill Community Agricultural Fair say that due to “current circumstances,” they can no longer continue at their location off Route 85 in South Mahoning Township. The fair has been working with the land owners for the last two-and-a-half years to renew their lease or purchase the land, but the property owners are in a 50/50 arrangement, and no agreement could be reached.
The fair board is looking for a new location to keep its fair going.
Indiana County has two community fairs: Ox Hill and the Green Township (Cookport) Fair.
