John C. Hoover Jr., 89, of Indiana, passed away on March 11, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1935, in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
John earned his Certificate in Electronics at Williamsport Area College. He served as a four-year Air Force Veteran from 1958 to 1962 and worked at HRB Singer before being recruited by the CIA, where he retired after 24 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Ann Hill, whom he married on December 19, 1969.
John was preceded in death by his parents, whom he cared for deeply; his beloved daughter, Amy, who meant the world to him; and an older sister.
John had a passion for boating, Corvettes, Australia, Florida, the Daytona 500, and working in his yard.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
