25-year-old Devon Jones of Cleveland faces charges of aggravated homicide for an incident on December 29th when he allegedly shot 28-year-old Carlos Banks, who performed under the name KashBankx, in an apartment along Broadway Avenue in Cleveland’s Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood. Members of the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task force along with Indiana Borough Police, state troopers, members of the county Drug Task Force, the Sheriff’s office and the District Attorney’s Office apprehended Jones at a home in the 200 block of Washington Street in Indiana Borough.
In a statement, U.S. Marshal Pete Ellott said that with Jones’ apprehension, “the grieving family of the victim in this case is one step closer to getting the justice they deserve”.
When he was apprehended, police found drugs in Jones’ home, so Jones will also face felony drug possession charges here in Indiana County.
