Injuries were reported in a major crash this morning in Burrell Township.
Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters, state police and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched to Route 22 West near Indiana Avenue shortly before 7 o’clock Tuesday morning for a crash involving a pickup truck and small SUV. Fire officials say one person had to be extricated and they were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Traffic was reduced to one lane in both the east and westbound sides of Route 22. State police are investigating.
