First Commonwealth Bank has been recognized one of seven recipients of the American Bankers Association Foundation’s Community Commitment Award.
According to a news release, First Commonwealth was recognized “for extraordinary corporate social responsibility efforts in seven specific categories ranging from affordable housing to economic inclusion. First Commonwealth Financial Education Program Coordinator Anna Frank said in a statement that the award is a “testament to all of the hard work First Commonwealth Employees put forth, providing financial education in the communities where they live and work.” She added that between the beginning of 2021 through the end of last month, First Commonwealth employees provided over 400 financial education sessions to over 10,000 people across the bank’s footprint of Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The award will be presented to First Commonwealth during the ABA’s annual convention in Austin, Texas next month.
